We shop Hawaii for that perfect gift for you
Did you get home without that one must-have souvenir from your Hawaii vacation? Are you looking for an item that's only available in Hawaii? Do you need a special gift for a birthday, graduation, holidays, Valentine’s Day, baby shower, or just because you or someone special dreams of Hawaii? Do you live on Oahu and need help shopping for gifts or other items? Your personal concierge, Hawaii Shopper, can help.
Message us through our HawaiiShopper Facebook or Instagram page or send us as an email to tell us what you’re looking for. If you can provide a picture, we'll go find it for you. If we're familiar with the item, we'll let you know your cost right away and payment is expected prior to our purchasing the item for you. If you are not sure what to get, follow our Instagram and Facebook pages for ideas.
Once we find your item, we confirm that it is indeed what you’re looking for and tell you your total cost, with shipping and our shopping fee. You can pay via a Paypal link that we send you and we then ship your items to you. We will track the package to make sure it reaches you, and you can open your box of Aloha.
How much will this cost?
For items being shipped to you, your cost will depend on the type of items you're looking for and the level of shopping service required (how far to pick up the item and how much searching may be involved) and will also include HI sales tax, shopping service fee, shipping cost, and approximately 3% of the total to PayPal. We can also shop for items on neighbor islands (Maui, Kauai and The Big Island of Hawaii). The Specialty Shopping prices for neighbor island shopping will vary greatly, but we will communicate the costs to you before proceeding.
Because our prices are partially based on the time to research and source items, the more items you order from a particular vendor (e.g. Starbucks), the less you pay per item. This means that, when purchasing multiple items from particular vendors with Hawaii Shopper, you can expect to see significantly lower prices compared to shopping online at eBay, PoshMark and others.
For local personal shopping here on Oahu, the cost will include the price of the items, tax and a shopping service fee based on time needed to source the item(s). We will always communicate the service fee prior to proceeding.
How do I place a shopping request?

What happens after I place a shopping request?
If your request includes items with which we are familiar, we'll respond to you with the anticipated costs right away and we will arrange for payment at that time. If your request is for items with which we aren't familiar with pricing, or if we need to see the items to get a better idea of shipping costs, we'll touch base and let you know when to expect a follow-up reply from us with cost info.
Requests for true Personal Shopping are handled on a case by case basis, We will be in contact with you right away to find out more about what you're looking for, discuss expected fees and payment options.
How is my payment processed, and is my information secure?
Hawaii Shopper uses PayPal to process all payments and we will send you a secure payment link by email. When you click on the Pay Now button in the email, you will be taken to PayPal’s secure website. There you have two options; use a PayPal account or a credit card. Hawaii Shopper never has access to your credit card information, and cannot charge you for more than you authorize through the PayPal system. The only personal information Hawaii Shopper will maintain in our records is your name, shipping address, email address, and the email or correspondence we've shared.
What about returns or exchanges?
We are a low-volume business and can't absorb the costs involved in accepting returns or exchanges. In all circumstances other than a Hawaii Shopper error, ALL SALES ARE FINAL from the moment you authorize shopping and make your payment. So please, ask all the questions you want while we’re shopping. Ask us to send another picture (or two!) if you need. Be sure we’re purchasing the items you want. We want to send you exactly what you’re looking for. No surprises. Of course, should you receive the wrong item due to our error*, we will make it right by arranging for a replacement free of charge, or issuing a full refund if a replacement item is not available.
My items arrived damaged. What do I do?
SAVE THE OUTER BOX AND INNER PACKING MATERIALS WITH THE DAMAGED ITEM(S). It may be necessary to present these in person to your local post office to substantiate the damage claim. The USPS may want to confirm the damage, see both of the addresses and the evidence of insurance attached to the package, and may also want to see that it was packaged and padded sufficiently to prevent damage during normal handling. So make sure you save all of these items until the claim has been settled. Also, take a picture of the damage (we may ask for additional pictures, but one or two that clearly show the damage will be enough for an initial claim) and send us an email to tell us what happened. Once we have the details from you, we will make the initial contact with USPS to get your claim started. Any steps of the process that we can do on your behalf, we are happy to handle. If it becomes necessary for you to take some action such as taking more pictures, providing us with more detailed info, or visiting a post office, we will let you know by message or email. We’ll do everything we can to get you the appropriate replacement or reimbursement, but remember that it will be a joint effort between you and Hawaii Shopper to see it to completion.

*Errors are determined solely by Hawaii Shopper, LLC. Hawaii Shopper, LLC has sole discretion in the determination of eligibility of any order to be refunded or replaced.
